The Visitation for Mr. Manikas will be held Sunday November 19th from 4pm to 9pm at the Adolf Funeral Home of Willowbrook. (7000 S. Madison Street). We suggest from I-55 that you exit Rt. 83 North to Plainfield Rd . Then Plainfield Rd. East or Right to Madison Street (Walgreens on the corner), then Madison Street back South or right to the Funeral Home.

Bill (Basile) John Manikas, 90-years-old from Palos Hills, Illinois, peacefully passed away next to his loving family on Wednesday, November 15, 2017. Beloved husband of Vivi of almost 58 wonderful years; Loving father of John (Athena), Tom and Georgia (Antonios) Vouris; Cherished grandfather of Pari (Spiro Pappas), Basile, James, Evan, Vasili, and Christian; Dearly loved brother of six siblings. Bill was also the beloved uncle, godfather, cousin and friend to countless many. Born on August 10, 1927 in Yefirakia Megalopolis, Greece, Bill came to the United States in 1955 to start a family, and create a beautiful life of his own. Bill owned and operated the famous Coffee Pot Restaurant in Roseland of Chicago for 30 memorable years. He was a loving, hardworking, honest and selfless family man who will forever be missed by all who knew him. May His Memory be Eternal!
