The services to honor and celebrate Shar’s life will be held on Thursday June 13, 2024 from 3pm – 8pm at the Palos-Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Hwy, Palos Hills. Friends and family asked to meet 9:30 AM Friday morning June 14 at the funeral home. Mass of Christian burial will be held 11:00 AM at Our Lady of the Ridge Catholic Church, 10811 Ridgeland Ave, Chicago Ridge, IL. Following the service, Shar will be laid to rest at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.

Sharlene Marie Rossini (nee Erdakos) passed away on June 09, 2024. Born to William and Beverly Erdakos on November 18, 1960, she was the sister to 3 younger brothers – Max, Joe, and Jim; beloved wife to John; mother to Christina and Anthony, and cherished aunt to many nieces and nephews. A graduate of Queen of the Universe Grammar School in 1974 and Lourdes High School in 1978 where she was active in student council, bowled in a league with friends, and befriended many others. Avid sports fan of her Chicago hometown teams, the Cubs and the Blackhawks. Shar was known for her big smile, contagious laugh, and willingness to help anyone in need. She touched so many people throughout her life and will always be remembered as someone you can count on when needed. She loved her children above all else, whether it was taking them to after-school activities, sporting events, or just watching them grow up, she was always there to support her children in everything they did.
