Richard “Tony” Anthony
Beloved son of Susan “Reyna” Cazares. Devoted father of Jasmine, Stephanie, Jeny and TJ. Loving grandson “Coco”. Beloved brother of Michael “Buddy” and Marissa “Reese”. Cherished grandfather, nephew, uncle and cousin.
Born and raised in the suburbs of Chicago, Tony spent his time working hard to support his family. In his free time Tony had several hobbies he was passionate about. For the past 20+ years, he entered the ring as a wrestler “Superbad Santana Starks”, starting out as a tag team (Body Count) with his cousin Daniel Allure. He was a valued member of the community and loved performing for his fans.
Tony discovered BattleBots 5 years ago and fell in love with combat robotics. He threw himself into robotics and joined the roster for season 7 on Pain Train, competing with his bots Twisty and the Immortal Crixus. Recently, Tony took interest in the sport of AirSoft and was a part of the Joker Squad team. These hobbies were enjoyed together by both father and son.
Tony was a huge bird lover, and has some amazing parrots at home, including an African Grey and a blue and gold macaw. He named one of his bots after his late chihuahua Crixus, who died of old age and now lives on as The Immortal Crixus. Tony loved karaoke and does a very convincing Frank Sinatra.
Tony was loved by so many people and will be remembered always. His infectious smile and laughter would light up a room. Memories of Tony will live on forever in our hearts. All arrangements entrusted to Orrico Kourelis Funeral Services Inc. For Information please call or text 815/260-0668
