Rosemary Kritselis 91 of Joliet formerly of Chicago, Berwyn, Hickory Hills, Wood Dale, The Villages (FL) and Romeoville passed away peacefully Wednesday evening. Beloved wife of the late George for over 66 years. Loving mother of Nick (Lori), and George Jr. (Carol). Proud grandmother of Deanna, Nicole, Andrea, Michelle, Alex, and Andrew. Great grandmother to Tyler, Zachary, Gabrielle, Claire, Logan, Hope, Grayson, Luca, Nolan, and Vivian. Dearest sister-in-law of Mary Kokinis and Aunt of Bill and Karen. Honored Godmother of Simi. She was always a street-smart, people-person. She had many jobs over the years, beginning in clerical work at age 16. She enjoyed selling clothes part-time at DeMars in Cicero in the 1960s and working as a hostess and cashier at the JC Penney’s coffee-shop and Sunmist restaurants. She enjoyed shopping with family and loved finding a bargain. She lived to have her family visit on weekends. Rosemary had a passion for cooking, especially for her family. From her lasagna to kapama, she always kept a smile on the faces of the ones she loved! While dementia greatly diminished her for the last several years, she never forgot to send love and prayers to family and friends. May her memory be eternal.
