Konstantinos “Gus” Pappas October 11, 1952 – May 13, 2021

The Visitation for Mr Pappas will take place Sunday May 16th from 2:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at The Maher Funeral Home 17101 71st Avenue Tinley Park Illinois 60477 (1 Block East of Harlem on 171st Street). The Trisigion Service will be held at 6:00 PM. Family and friends asked to meet directly Monday morning at St. Spyridon Greek Orthodox Church 12307 Ridgeland Avenue Palos Heights 60463, for the 10:00 AM Funeral Service. Konstantinos will be laid to rest at Bethania Cemetery of Justice.

MASKS MUST BE WORN AT ALL TIMES DURING INDOOR SERVICES.

Konstantinos “Gus” Pappas 68, of Tinley Park , formerly of Greece (Neohori, Argolidas), passed away peacefully after a long and courageous battle with cancer on Thursday morning May 13th. Beloved husband of Panagiota (Penny) Pappas for over 45 years. Loving father of George (Maria) Pappas and Maria Pappas. Cherished pappou of Tinos and Eliana Pappas. Adored son of the late George and Sofia Pappas and brother of Bill (Fay) Pappas, Athanasia (Sam) Trahanas, Toula (Ted) Iliopoulos, Panagiota (George) Alafogianis, and Helen (Late Jim) Mantis.  Precious theio to many nieces and nephews and respected man to countless people in the community.
Konstantinos was truly the most loved man in the world. His bravery and perseverance during is ongoing battle with cancer was one that left his family, friends, and medical team in complete awe. He was a humble and caring individual whose compassion and selflessness made an everlasting impact on this world.
