Ilias “Loui” Iliopoulos March 19, 1947 – May 7, 2021
The Services for Mr. Iliopoulos will take place all in one day on Tuesday May 11th at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 11025 South Roberts Road Palos Hills Illinois. Visitation will be from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM and Funeral Service will begin promptly at 1:00 PM. Loui will be laid to rest at Bethania Cemetery of Justice.
Ilias George Iliopoulos, known to family and friends as Loui Allen, age 74, passed away on May 7, 2021 with his loving family by his side. He was born March 19, 1947 in Louka, Greece to the late Dimitra (née Tsiagouris) and George Iliopoulos. Loui leaves behind his beloved wife of thirty-two years, Christine M. Iliopoulos (née Haerr). Loving father of Dimitra, Suzanne (Arthur) Tomczak, and Paige. Beloved brother of the late Demetrios (Eleni) Iliopoulos, the late Panagiota (Gus) Pappas, Vasiliki (the late Vasilios) Romios, the late Nicholas Allen, Yvonne (the late Demetrios) Kalantzis, Voula Allen, and Theodosios (Dimitra) Iliopoulos. Dearest uncle to many nieces and nephews. Loui was known for loving his family, the Cubs, his lotto, and of course the OTB. He was easygoing with a great sense of humor that will be missed by all.
