Services for John will take place all in one day on Saturday December 2nd at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 11025 South Roberts Road Palos Hills Illinois 60465. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. The Funeral Service will begin promptly at 11:00 AM and immediately following the Visitation. John will be laid to rest alongside his beloved parents at Bethania Cemetery of Justice. May His Memory be Eternal!

John Dimos Georgis, age 75, beloved son of the late Dimos and Fotini (nee Gialamas) Georgis. Survived in life by his beloved wife of 35 years Linka nee Doklean and his children Kristina Georgis (Ashraf Kawar), Francine (Darb) Lang, Michael (Kristen) Georgis and James (Rebecca) Georgis. Grandfather to Elias, John, Alexander, Niko and Theoni. Dearest brother of Ethel (Peter) Parthenis, Eleni (Andy) McKenna, and Betty (Pete) Tsoutsas. Brother-in-law to Anka (Vasilie) Misca . Loved by many nieces and nephews and everyone within the community who knew him as “Uncle John”.
John was born in Greece and immigrated to the United States with his parents and sisters at a very young age. John was a successful entrepreneur, a self-taught musician and had an endless passion for fishing, inspiring many to join him over the years. He will be deeply missed. May his Memory be Eternal.
