Georgia, 57 years young, passed peacefully in her sleep on Thanksgiving morning after fighting cancer for two long years.
Georgia is the beloved mother of Nicole(Mark) Burklow and Alec Fidan. Dearest wife of Ali Fidan. She was a proud Yiayia of Mila & Rylan. Georgia leaves behind her parents, John and Alexandra Karuntzos. Georgia, the dear sister of Demetra (Tom) Papadopoulos, Maria (John) Pavletic, and George (Maureen) Karuntzos. She was also a loving Thea to many!
Georgia was a fiercely loyal, generous, and caring person who always put the needs of her family and friends before her own. She was a strong woman who embraced every challenge in her life with courage and tenacity, including a brave battle with breast cancer. The amount of love Georgia had for Nicole and Alec never went unnoticed. Her perseverance through adversity will forever inspire us all.
Her smile and laugh lit up any room.  She touched the hearts of all those she encountered. Georgia is the true definition of what a woman should grow to become.
She will forever live on in our hearts. Her presence and spirit will continue to be felt by us forever and always. May her Memory be Eternal! Orrico Kourelis Funeral Services Inc entrusted with all arrangements.
