Visitation for Joan will take place Thursday February 18th from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM at The Lack & Sons Funeral Home 9236 South Roberts Road Hickory Hills Illinois 60457. Funeral to take place Friday morning February 19th, with guests arriving at 10:00 AM. Prayers and Chapel Service will begin promptly at 11:00 AM with Pastor Don Borling officiating.
Masks must be worn at all times for both services.

On Saturday February 13th our dearest mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister was carried gently into Jesus’ arms at the age of 82. Joan Elaine Lamaster (nee Wainwright) wife of the late Leonard Lamaster and mother to the late sons Joseph Lamaster and Leonard Lamaster Jr. Devoted mother to Kim Jackson, Dawn (Dave) Coutts, Cliff Lamaster, Michelle (the late Don) Gaines, Chris (Ronald) Glockler, Keith (Kelly) Lamaster, and Jerry (Anna) Lamaster. Cherished Grandma to, Sheila (Dave) Brown/Herrmann, Lenny Lamaster, Michael Jackson, Hollie Guevara, Nikki Mynhier, Amanda (Tony) Cervantes, David Coutts, Jacob Coutts, Jacki (Stefan) Groebel, CJ (Lindsey) Lamaster, Kaitlyn Lamaster, Meaghan Gaines, Donald Gaines Jr, Cassandra (Will) Jarosz, Ronnie Glockler, Luke Glockler, Adam Glockler, Paige (Corey) Holzman, Keith Lamaster, Kristofer Lamaster, Alyssa Lamaster, Victoria Lamaster, Alivia Lamaster, Marissa Lamaster and Liliana Lamaster. Joan was born on June 21, 1938 to Walter Wainwright and Edna Louise Wainwright (nee Bingham). She then married the love of her life, Leonard Lamaster on December 18, 1955, together they started their family with 9 children. Joan was 38 with her youngest child being only 3 months old when the unthinkable happened. The love of her life passed away, leaving her with 8 young children to raise on her own. She spent the rest of her life doing all she could for her kids. She devoted herself completely to her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Joan was always full of love and laughter. Her presence would fill a room with joy. She shared so many wonderful memories with everyone who crossed her path at one point or another. Her legacy will live on through all of those memories and stories we continue to share. If love alone could have kept her here, she would have lived forever. Visitation is on Thursday February 18th from 3:00p.m – 9:00p.m. at Lack & Sons Funeral Home, 9236 S. Roberts Rd. Hickory Hills.
