Services for Mrs. Rezos will take place all in one day on Monday June 16th at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 11025 South Roberts Road Palos Hills Illinois 60465. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 10:30 AM. Funeral Services will begin Promptly at 10:30 AM immediately after the visitation. Toula will be laid to rest at Evergreen Cemetery of Evergreen Park.

Diamando “Toula” (nee Melitsopoulos) Rezos passed away peacefully at home on Wednesday, June 11, 2025. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin and friend to many. Toula was born on October 10, 1934, in Planitero Kalavryta, Greece, to Petros and Varvara Melitsopoulos. She immigrated to the United States and married her beloved Vasilios on May 20, 1967. Toula was loved by all. She was everyone’s “mother”, always going out of her way to make others feel welcomed and loved. Toula had an open heart and an open door. There was nothing she loved more than having family and friends in her home for special occasions, holidays, especially New Year’s Day, or just a simple afternoon where she would cook and feed any and all. No celebration was complete without Toula’s famous Greek desserts, especially her Greek diples that she happily made for many occasions. She touched the lives of everyone who knew her, and we will always fondly remember our dear Toula. Toula is survived by her husband, Vasilios, children Peter (Stacy) Rezos, Jane (Steve) Vlahos, grandchildren John, Vasi, and Dia, brother Peter Melis, and many other loving family members and friends.
