In light of the current health situations, funeral services for Mr. Baffes will be held all in one day. Visitation will be Tuesday March 2nd, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 11025 South Roberts Road Palos Hills Illinois 60465. The Funeral service will begin promptly at 1:00PM. Masks must be worn at all times and social distancing is still in place. All attendees will be required to sign in. Ted will be laid to rest at Bethania Cemetery of Justice.

Eleftherios “Ted” Baffes, 80 of Palos Park and born of Alea Tagea Greece, passed away peacefully Tuesday evening, February 23 with family at his side. Devoted and beloved husband of Andrea (nee Revell) for 53 years. Loving father of Nick (Jane) Baffes, Stacey Kilias, and Georgia Baffes. Dearest and proud Papa of Vivian, Lefteri, Georgia, Andrea, and Andriana. Loving son of the late Nicholas and Anastasia Baffes. Dear brother of the late Peter (Tasia) Baffes, the late Bessie (the late John) Vergados, and the late Bill (Connie) Baffes. Fond brother- in-law of Athena Sehremelis, and Philip (Marge) Revell. Fun loving “Uncle Ted” to many nieces and nephews. Ted was the co-founder and longtime proud owner of Mickey’s Gyros. He found peace in the outdoors and enjoyed his hunting. Of course there was an occasional trip to Vegas and the countless family adventures and vacations. His wife, his children, and especially his grandchildren always came first, and spending time with them was above all. He will forever be known for his infectious smile and wonderful nature, and was a tremendous friend to so many people. Ted and his smile will be deeply missed by family and friends alike.
