Services for Mrs. Manos will take place all in one day on Wednesday March 26th at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 11025 South Roberts Road Palos Hills Illinois 60465. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral Service will begin promptly at 11:00 AM immediately following visitation. Rhea will be laid to rest at Bethania Cemetery of Justice Illinois.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in memory of Rhea Manos may be made payable to “The New Greek Orthodox Church of North Texas” NGOC of North Texas C/O Sally Maglaris 1800 Winchester Drive Prosper Texas 75078. With profound sorrow, we announced the passing of Sotiria Rhea Manos. Devoted wife of George, loving mother to Efy (Andrew) Gofis and Katerina (Vasilios) Angelakis. Doting grandmother to Constantine and Katerina Gofis and Fani Angelakis. Cherished daughter to the late Athanasios and Cathy (nee Malliaras) Maglaris. Loyal sister to Nicholas, Bill (Mary) and Sally Maglaris. Adoring aunt, cousin and friend to many. Rhea was a beacon of love and strength. She dedicated her life to her family, always putting others before herself. Her wisdom and unwavering faith were a source of comfort to those around her. Over the years, Rhea celebrated many milestones. From an accomplished makeup artist with Estee Lauder to a proud owner of Platia Greek Kouzina in Frisco Texas. She left her “sparkle” everywhere. Her giving heart, fierce devotion and enduring love will be remembered by all who knew her. Rhea, Rhee, Mom, Woula, and Yiayia will forever be in our hearts.
