Services for Mrs. King will be held at Palos Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 Southwest Highway, Palos Hills, IL., 60465. Visitation Wednesday August 12th from 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm. Funeral Service Thursday August 13th 8:30 AM at funeral home. Mass of Christian Burial 10:00 am at Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 8245 West 111th Street Palos Hills Illinois 60465. Lidia will be laid to rest alongside her beloved Ramon at St. Mary Cemetery of Evergreen Park.

Born in Stockdale TX. on Jan. 20, 1929, formally from San Antonio, TX. residing in Palos Hills since 1967. Lidia crossed over peacefully in her sleep on August 7, 2026 in her home of 60 years. She along with her Beloved the late husband Ramon D. King raised 7 children. She leaves behind a beautiful legacy to them all, Stella (Moses) Villasenor, Calista (David) Sauseda, the late Maria King, Guillerma/Mimie Brown, Ramon A. King JR., Esequiel/Kico (Roberta) King, Jesus R. King, the late Bernarda (the late Alfredo) Gutierrez, and the late Sylvia King, Grandmother to 39, Great Grandmother to 93 and Great-Great grandma to 66 plus one on the way.
Lidia worked at GTE for 30 years until the plant closed. She was very involved in the Palos Hills Fireman Woman’s Auxiliary and the 49rs. She was always a very hard working woman and a kind soul to everyone she met. She taught her children to be good, kind people, and to help whenever help was needed. She was the foundation of everything we are, she was our rock and will be truly missed. All arrangements entrusted to Orrico Kourelis Funeral Services Inc.
