John Thomas Noonan October 19, 1928 – November 9, 2023
Services for Mr. Noonan will take place all in one day on Thursday November 16th at Palos Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 South Southwest Highway Palos Hills Illinois 60465. Visitation will be held from 8:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Chapel Service to begin at 11:00 AM and promptly after visitation. John will be laid to rest along side his beloved Joy at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery.
John Thomas Noonan 95 of Mokena passed away Thursday evening November 9th at the Manteno Home for veterans in Manteno Illinois. Beloved husband of the late Joy Susan Noonan née Sommers. Loving son to late Thomas and Norah Noonan. Dearest father of Patricia (Ron) Madaras, Thomas (Bridget) Noonan, and The Late Jack (Late Peggy) Noonan. Dear grandfather of Joy (Paul) Reno, Jennifer( Colin) Walters, John Madaras, Michael Noonan, Matthew (Deanna) Noonan. Great Grandfather of Zachary Reno, Ayden Reno, Isabelle Walters and Timothy Walters. John was raised on the south side of Chicago, where he attended Saint Rita high school. He continued school in the carpenters apprenticeship program, where he began a career as a carpenter. John eventually climbed the rungs of Carpenters Local Union 13 to become a foreman. John was a proud Veteran of United States Army. All arrangements entrusted to Orrico Kourelis Funeral Services Inc.
