***Visitation for Mr. Sgouras will take place Friday December 17th from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at The Palos Gaidas Funeral Home, 11028 South Southwest Highway Palos Hills Illinois 60465 (Next to McDonald’s). The Trisagion Service will take place at 6:00 PM. Friends and Family asked to meet directly Saturday morning at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church 11025 South Roberts Road Palos Hills Illinois 60465, for the 10:00 AM Funeral Service. Jim will be laid to rest alongside his beloved wife Athanasia at Bethania Cemetery of Justice.

Dimitrios “Jim” Sgouras 87 of Oak Lawn, passed away suddenly Saturday morning December 11th with family at his side. Devoted and Beloved husband of the late Anathasia for over 55 years. Loving father Steve Sgouras, Ageliki Sgouras, and Steve Bollos. Proud Pappou of Basileios, Dimitrios, and Aikaterini Athanasia. Beloved brother of Martha (the late George) Sotiropoulos, the late Hilas (Georgia) Sgouras, the late Andreas (the late Efrosini) Sgouras, and Stamatios Sgouras. Dearest theio of Kosta Sotriopoulos and Giannis Sotiropoulos, Giannis (Dionisia) Sgouras, Aggeliki (Dionisis) Andrikopoulos,.Panagiota Sgouras, and Sophia Sgouras. Great theio of Andreas Sgouras, Fotini Andrikopoulou, and Efrosini Andrikopoulou. May his memory be eternal.
