Friends and family will gather Monday morning at the funeral home for 9:30 AM prayers and proceed to Sacred Heart Catholic Church, 8245 West 111th Street Palos Hills Illinois 60465, for a 10:30 Mass of Christian Burial. Catherine will be laid to rest alongside her beloved Joseph at Saint Mary Catholic Cemetery of Evergreen Park.

Catherine “Katie” Gutierrez October 14, 1927 – December 6, 2022 Catherine or “Katie” Gutierrez was a beloved, beautiful, and strong mother, grandmother, and wife during her 95 years of life. She passed away peacefully in the early hours of Tuesday, December 6th, 2022 with her adoring daughter Josephine and attentive caretaker Grace by her side. To her late husband of 73 years Joe Gutierrez she was known as “Kay”, to her children, Josephine Manasses, Brenda Beckman, the late Dean (Kim) Gutierrez, and Manuel Gutierrez, she was “mom” and to all her grandchildren Dora, Tina, Nicole, Joey, Nicholas, Cristin, Dean, Anthony, Erik, Manny, Veronica, Antonio, Armando, Vincent, Alex, Andrew and Adam as well as her great grandchildren Jolie, Jacqueline, Elia, Dre, Mila, Sophia, Josephine, Hunter, Anthony, Tommy, Jolene, Lia, Addie, Gabriel, and Catalina, she was “mama”.
