Services for Mrs. Panos will take place all in one day on Wednesday January 3, 2024 at Sts. Constantine & Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 11025 South Roberts Road Palos Hills Illinois 60465. Visitation will be from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral service will begin promptly at 11:00 AM and immediately following the visitation. Angeliki will be laid to rest at Bethania Cemetery.

Angeliki Panos, nee Tamvakologou, age 71. Cherished daughter of the late Marika and Vasili Tamvakologou; devoted wife of George Panos; loving mother of Franny (Mike) Kotlan and Peter (Kiki) Panos; proud Yiayia of Angelina and Alexander; dear sister to Kaiti (late Nicholas) Ioannou; fond sister-in-law and beloved aunt to many. Angeliki came to the United States in 1973 as a newlywed. Soon after she became a mother and dedicated her life to her husband, children, and eventually grandchildren. Angeliki enjoyed traveling back to Greece with her family. They spent countless summers visiting relatives and traveling the islands. The time she got to spend with her sister in person was priceless. It would be wrong to say that Angeliki lost her battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly look like. Just because she is no longer here, it does not mean she lost her fight.
