Theodora (Doris) Siakotos December 4, 1939 – February 25, 2024
Services for Theodora will take place all in one day on Thursday February 29th. Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until 11:00 am at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church 11025 South Roberts Road Palos Hills 60465. Funeral services will follow at the church at 11:00 am. Theodora will be laid to rest at Bethania Cemetery of Justice.

Theodora (Doris) Siakotos (née Giannakopoulos), age 84, of Orland Park, Illinois, passed away peacefully at home in the company of her loving family on February 25, 2024. She was born December 4, 1939, in Sangka, Greece, daughter of Konstantinos and Eleni Giannakopoulos (née Makris). She emigrated to Canada in 1958, before settling in Chicago, where she married John Siakotos on September 11, 1960.
Theodora helped her husband John establish their business, Freshline Foods, in Oak Lawn. She enjoyed cooking and baking for her family and the community, and she loved spending time with her grandchildren.
She is survived by her beloved husband, John; her son, Peter, and daughter, Anthoula (Craig) Lenz; her sister, Penelope (Stathis) Gardiakos; and her three grandchildren, Alexandra, Michelle, and John Lenz. She is also survived by her nephews Dino (Joanne) and Nick (Eleni) Giannakopoulos; George and Dino Gardiakos; and Dino (Jodette), Nick, and George Giannakopoulos. She was a fond aunt, godmother, cousin, and friend to many.
Theodora is preceded in death by her two brothers, John (Toula) and Ted (late Helen) Giannakopoulos.
Visitation will be held from 9:30 am until 11:00 am on Thursday, February 29, 2024, at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church in Palos Hills. Funeral services will follow at the church at 11:00 am.
