She will be laid to rest alongside her Beloved Husband Georgios and her Dearest Son Christos in Metamorphosis of Our Lord Cemetery Greece.

Kristina “Christitsa” Kalivas (nee Spiropoulos), Matriarch of the family, passed away at the age of 92 peacefully on September 14, 2021. She was born in Simiades, Arcadia, Greece on November 30, 1928. Beloved wife of the late Georgios Kalivas; Loving mother of Panagiota (John) Vavilis, Soula (Gus) Gelis and late son, Christos Kalivas. Cherished Yiayia (Grandmother) to George (Angie) Gelis, Joanne (Kostas) Karanastasis, Christ Gelis and Emmanuela Vavilis. Proud Great Grandmother to Christina, Konstantinos, Michael, Anastastia, Anastasios and Penelope. Dearest Sister of the late Pagona (the late Theodosios) Maglaris. Sister-in-Law of the late Christina (the late Vasilios) Gianniosis, the late Koralia (the late Panagioti) Dardagiannis, the late Pagona (the late Lazaros) Siamantouras. Fond Theia of many nieces and nephews. Being with her family was her greatest joy, she was a blessing to all. May her Memory be Eternal.
