Services for Gregory will take place all in one day on Friday, August 1st at Sts. Constantine and Helen Greek Orthodox Church, 11025 South Roberts Road Palos Hills, IL 60465. Visitation will be from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. Funeral Service will begin promptly at 11:00 AM immediately after the visitation. Gregory will be late to rest alongside his loving Father at Evergreen Cemetery of Evergreen Park, Illinois.

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our son and brother, Gregory on July 23, 2025. Greg was 61 years old and a friend to all. He loved his family ; father Daniel N. Actipes (deceased), mother Margaret, brother to Nicholas and sister Christine (Andrew). He loved his dogs, Charlie and Archie, and his African Grey Parrot, Bubba. Greg achieved his life long dream of becoming an Optometrist and helping people. He was known for his generosity, his smile, and his laugh. His mere presence could light up a room. He loved making other people happy and his kindness extended to all. Greg will be deeply missed by so many people, and his absence will leave a void no other could fill.
