Santy Broderick February 2nd, 1964 – January 29th, 2019
Santy’s Services will be held Monday February 4th, 2019 at the Palos Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 South Southwest Highway Palos Hills (Next to McDonalds). His funeral will take place on February 8th, 2019 12:00 noon at St. Columbus Catholic Church of Kilbeacanty Ireland with burial to immediately follow. Memorials will be made to the American Cancer Society.
Gerald “Santy” Broderick 54 of Hickory Hills formerly and born in Kilbeacanty Ireland passed away peacefully Tuesday afternoon January 29th at Little Company of Mary Hospital in Evergreen Park Illinois. Santy was the beloved son of the late Fred and Carmel (nee Hynes) Broderick. Dearest brother Sean (Tina) Broderick of County Clare, Bernadette (Gerry) Neilan of Chicago, Eamonn (Marion Fahey) Broderick of Gort, Tina (Mike) Hennelly of Gort, Christy (Senzeni) Broderick of Gort, Fintan (Lorraine) Broderick of Chicago, Kieran (Mary) Broderick of Gort, Ollie Broderick of Gort, Carmel (David) Broderick of Derrybrien and the late Aidan and Seamus Broderick . Loving and special nephew of Chrissy McDonnell of Tipperary and fond uncle to many nieces and nephews as well as grand nieces and nephews here in the United States as well as his home country of Ireland. Santy was a dear and true friend to many and his stories, his laughter, and even his outbursts, will be dearly missed! God Bless you our dear friend! Visitation will be held on Monday February 4th from 3:00 PM to 8:00 PM, at The Palos Gaidas Funeral Home 11028 South Southwest Highway (7700 West) Palos Hills Illinois 60465. The Interment and Burial will take place February 8th, 2019 immediately after the12:00 noon Mass of Christian Burial at St. Columbas Catholic Church of Kilbeacanty, Ireland.
