George N. Kritselis March 16,1931 – November 27, 2020
In light of the current health situations the services for Mr. Kritselis will take place all in one day on Friday December 4th, 2020 and be reserved for the family only. George will be laid to rest at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery.

George Kritselis 89 of Romeoville formerly of Chicago’s west side, Berwyn, Hickory Hills,
Wood Dale, and The Villages (FL) passed away peacefully Friday morning. Beloved husband
of Rosemary (nee Suarez) for over 66 years. Loving father of Nick (Lori), and George Jr.
(Carol). Proud grandfather of Deanna, Nicole, Andrea, Michelle, Alex, and Andrew. Great
grandfather to Tyler, Zachary, Gabrielle, Claire, Logan, Hope, Grayson, and Vivian. Dearest
brother of Mary Kokinis and Uncle of Bill and Karen. Honored Godfather of Simi.
George graduated from Crane Tech in 1949. He was a proud Veteran of the U.S. Army,
serving honorably from 1951 to 1953, including a tour of duty in the Korean War. George was a
devoted employee of Model Industries and Advertising Metal Display Companies as a design
engineer for over 30 years. In 1987, he was awarded US Patent US4721347A for inventing an improved cabinet drawer locking system for tool cabinets. He also sold real estate in Hillside part-time for almost 20 years. George’s hobbies included golfing with his sons, woodworking, softball, watercolor painting, vegetable gardening, and poker. He was a diehard
White Sox and Bears Fan. He lived for his family and served them tirelessly all his life.
