Constantine “Gus’ Demacopoulos, age 87, loving husband of Angelike (nee Vardalos) of 60 years, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on May 27, 2017 at home in Palos Heights. Beloved son of the late Efthimios and Yioryia Demacopoulos and brother of the late Dimitrios (Katerina) and the late Maria (the late Dimitrios) Ntourouki. Gus is survived by his loving children Georgia, Anna (Andreas) Kosmas,Thomas (Cristina) and Nike, and adoring grandchildren Catrina, Heather, Erini, Angelina, Constantino, Antonio, Gianna, and Giulia. A beloved cousin, brother-in-law, and uncle to many in Greece, Canada, and Australia. From humble beginnings of Vasiliko, Patras Greece, Gus immigrated to America in 1956. With a strong work ethic, a thirst for self-education and an unmatched devotion to family, he became a successful real estate investor and entrepreneur owning petroleum stations in the Chicagoland area.
