Services for Mrs. Manos will take place all in one day on Wednesday September 17, 2025 at the Assumption Greek Orthodox Church, 601 South Central Avenue Chicago, Illinois 60644. Visitation will be from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Funeral Service to begin 11:30 AM, promptly after the Visitation. Catherine will be laid to rest alongside her beloved Nicholas at Elmwood Cemetery in River Grove. May Her Memory be Eternal!

Catherine N. Manos, age 93, of Riverside and Chicago, Illinois, fell asleep peacefully in the Lord on September 9, 2025 surrounded by her family. Loving daughter of the late Nicholas and Panagiota Gianacakos of Cicero, Illinois, devoted wife of the late attorney Nicholas G. Manos, and loving mother of Stathy White (Thomas) and George N. Manos (Debra). Grandmother of Viki Conner (Ryan), Katherine Cooper (Clarke), Nicholas White (Baysa), and Harriet White Dockstader (Brian). Great-grandmother of Eva and Julia Conner, John Wyatt Cooper, and John Thomas Dockstader. Sister of the late James N. (Helen) Gianacakos, the late Louis N. Gianacakos (Judith), and the late George N. Gianacakos (Leona). Sister-in-law to the late John G. Manos (Anastasia), and Aunt of George J. Manos (Sue), Angela Loftus (James), and Stathie Manos. Aunt of James (Kathleen) Gianacakos, Christine (Gene) Dulski, Nicholas G. Gianacakos, Richard (Stephanie) Gianacakos, Nicholas (Sharon) Gianacakos, George (Sharon) Gianacakos, Penny (Dale) Vermurian, Catherine Purcell, and Bunny (Donald) Bode. Niece of the late Angeline Gravenites, the late Thomas Economos, and Michael and Metaxia Economos in Greece. Fond cousin of Betty (Peter) Petros and the late Diane (George) Kliros.
