Carmella “Colly” Russo   April 1, 1922  to November 8, 2020

In light of the current health situation, there will be private services held for Mrs. Russo. They will take place all in one day and  be reserved for family only.  The Mass of Christian Burial take place 10:00 AM Friday November 13th at Divine Savior Catholic Church 2550 Mayfair Avenue Westchester Illinois 60154. She will be laid to rest next to her beloved Vito at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery of Alsip.

In Lieu of Flowers the family had asked that Memorials in Colly’s name be sent to the American Cancer Society…. Thank you

Carmella “Colly” Russo (Nee Orrico) 98 of Westchester formerly of Chicago passed away peacefully Sunday morning November 8, 2020 in Oak Brook Illinois. Beloved wife of the late Vito for over 49 years. Devoted and loving mother of Carl “Sonny” (Janet) Russo and Louis (Gail) Russo. Dearest Grandma of Joeli Russo, Jaimee (Barry) Wasserstrom, and Andrew (Amber) Russo. Great Grandma to Jake and Sammy Porter, Sophia and Dominic Wasserstrom, and Myla and Emery Russo. Daughter of the late Louis and Saveria Orrico, and sister of the late Sis (the late Alfred) Fiermosca, the late Edith (the late Alex) Piagnarelli, the late Mary (the late Frank) Calvello, and Casey Orrico. Cherished Aunt of many nieces and nephews. Colly was an adamant Chicago Cubs Fan and loved her trips to Las Vegas and at times could be caught working on puzzles and crossword books to pass the time. Due to the current health situations, a private Funeral Mass of Christian Burial will take place on Friday November 13th at 10:00 AM at Divine Providence Catholic Church 2550 Mayfair Avenue Westchester Illinois 60154.
