Visitation for Mrs. Alexopoulos will take place all in one day on October 10th at St. Nicholas Greek Orthodox Church, 10301 South Kolmar Avenue Oak Lawn Illinois 60453. Visitation from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM. Funeral Service to begin after Visitation and promptly at 10:00 AM. She will be laid to rest along side her beloved George at Bethania Cemetery of Justice.
It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Adamantia Alexopoulos, a beloved mother and grandmother, who peacefully departed this world at the age of 98. Born in Greece, Adamantia moved to America in 1970 with her family, bringing with her a spirit of resilience and love that would touch everyone she encountered.
A dedicated and hard-working woman, Adamantia was the cornerstone of her family. She was a trusted friend and the best mother one could hope for, always putting the needs of her loved ones first. Her children, Tony, Peter, and Jenny, cherished her unwavering support and guidance throughout their lives. Adamantia’s pride and joy were her grandchildren—Angelo, Amanda, and Geo—who she adored and celebrated with boundless love.
Adamantia lived a long and healthy life, embodying the values of hard work, dedication, and family. She was predeceased by her loving husband, George, in 2018, and her spirit will forever be cherished in the hearts of those she leaves behind.
Her family would like to express their gratitude for the care and compassion shown to Adamantia in her final days. She will be remembered for her warmth, strength, and the deep love she shared with all.
