Areti Milonas August 23, 1942 – March 25, 2026
Services for Mrs. Milonas will take place this Saturday, March 28th at 10:00 am at Holy Cross Greek Orthodox Church, 7560 Archer Road, Justice, Illinois 60458. Visitation will take place from 10:00 am to 11:00 am. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am immediately following the visitation at Holy Cross Church. Areti will be laid to rest at Bethania cemetery in Justice.

Areti Milonas (nee Papadopoulos) passed away peacefully on March 25, 2026. Areti was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, aunt and sister to a large and loving Greek family.
She was born in Schinohori, Argos, Greece in 1942. She married Konstantinos and immigrated to the United States in 1967. They were married for over 60 years. Her two children, George and Vicky (Egan), thrive because of the strong work ethic she instilled in them. She adored her grandchildren Mike and Jack (the children of Vicky and her husband Mike) and Anna, Emma, and Matthew (the children of George and Jennifer, nee Hogan).
Areti loved spending time with her brothers and sisters . She was an excellent gardener and cook. Areti was an avid fan of Western shows and cowboy movies. In her free time, she enjoyed relaxing outdoors with nature, tending to her gorgeous garden and the local wildlife. She will be very dearly missed by all. May Her Memory be Eternal.
