Susan Bergen (Nee) Kataitis 62 of Frankfort, formerly of Homer Township and Hickory Hills, passed away Friday July 24th, 2015 peacefully at home with her family at her side. Beloved and devoted wife of Thomas for 40 years. Loving mother of T.J. (Melissa), Chris (Amanda) and Lauren (Billy) Bushwaller. Dearest Mimi of Luke, Ben, Lucy and Betty. Dear daughter of Frank and the late Betty Kataitis and daughter-in-law of the late Joseph and Dolores Bergen. Sue was the co-founder/co-director, and teacher of The Butterfly Garden Learning Center of Homer Township. Her devotion to children and education was only equaled by the love she had for her own family. Memorial Service will be held Saturday August 8th, 2015 at St. Anthony Catholic Church 7659 Sauk Trail, Frankfort Illinois 60423. Friends and family are asked to meet in the Atrium at 9:30 AM for visiting prior to The 10:00 Mass of Christian Burial. The Bergen family would like to announce the birth of Sue’s newest grandchild, Henry Joel Bushwaller, born July 28, 2015 at 5:02 PM (7 lbs. 8 oz. and 22 inches). Henry Joel will now join Luke, Ben, Lucy and Betty under the constant protection and watchful eye of their loving Mimi. May her memory be eternal.
