Spiros A. “ Spike” 81 of Tinley Park, formerly of Oak Lawn and Astros Greece, passed away Sunday April 26th, at home peacefully with family at his side. Beloved and devoted husband of Sandy for 56 years. Loving father of Andrew, Chris (Suzie), George (Vasilike), and Maria. Dearest Papaou of Demi, Spiros, Sophia, Aspasia, Christina, and Christos. Spike was a dedicated retired detective sergeant of the Oak Lawn Police Department of which he served for 20 years. He and his wife Sandy were also the proud owners of “Spikes Travel Agency” in Oak Lawn on 95th Street. Former President and member of A.H.E.P.A. Oak Lawn/ Englewood Chapter #323.
