Joan Gilkison March 4, 1936 – June 4th, 2020
In light of the current health situation, the services for Joan Gilkison will take place all in one day as a private service. She will be laid to rest alongside her beloved late husband’s Raymond and Gordon at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Alsip Illinois. The Gilkison, Weber, and Rundle families would like to thank you for understanding and greatly appreciate your prayers and gestures of sympathy during this difficult time. Joan M. Gilkison (nee Rundle) 84 of Palos Hills, formerly of Chicago, passed away peacefully Thursday morning June 4th at Palos Community Hospital. Beloved and devoted wife of the late Raymond Weber and the late Gordon Gilkison. Proud mother of Ray (Rita) Fyfe, Cindy Lindish, Lori Weber, Deb (Al) Linkowski, Sandy Morgan-Gilkison , and Mike (Roz) Gilkison. Loving grandmother of Walter (Lindsay) Lindish, Ashlee (Brett) Siebert, Courtney Fyfe, and Caitlin (Irving) Fyfe, Mikey, Alyssa and Erin Gilkison, and Amanda Amundson. Great grandmother of Luke and Celine. Cherished daughter of the late Jay Rundle and Loretta McIlnay. Dear sister of the late Larry (Joan) Rundle. Fond aunt of Pamela (Larry) Pottle, and Kimberly Rundle and great aunt of Reed Pottle. Joan had a flare for life she enjoyed taking trips to Ft. Myers Beach, Four Winds Casino, the beauty parlor and the nail salon! If you knew her, you would know that QVC and HSN were her favorite channels.
