Edward Loch January 3rd 1937 – April 1st, 2020
In light of the current health situation, the services for Edward Loch will take place as a private service on Monday, April 6th. He will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Evelyn at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Justice. The Loch, Walters, and Valasek families would like to thank you for understanding and greatly appreciate your prayers and gestures of sympathy during this time. Most importantly they wish for you and your loved ones to be safe. A memorial service will be held at a later date.

 

 

 

Edward Loch of Hickory Hills, age 83, passed away peacefully the afternoon of Wednesday, April 1st at his home with family at his side. Beloved husband of the late Evelyn (nee Lushnia) for over 54 years. Dear father of Susan (Joseph) Walters, Ken (Bonnie) Loch, Sharon (Tim) Valasek, Judy Loch, and Jeff (Teresa) Loch. Loving grandfather of Collin (Alisha) Loch, Abby (Kody) Conley, Tom Loch, Kailyn Loch, and Hayley Walters. Dearest great grandfather of Olive, Leona, and Norah. Dear brother of Carol (Dennis) Suder and Len (Debra) Loch. Ed was a proud veteran of The United States Navy, serving on the USS Alfred A. Cunningham, and a member of the Tin Can Sailors National Association. Ed married his sweetheart in 1960 and they had three children while living in Brighton Park. They built their dream home in Hickory Hills in 1966, added two more children to the family, and became long time parishioners of St. Patricia Church, where all of the children attended school. Ed’s successful sales career resulted in starting his own company, OmniPrint Services, which he ran until his final days. Ed was a life-long Bears fan, an avid fisherman, and loved to putter in his garage and fix everything himself. Services will take place on Monday, April 6th as a private service and he will be laid to rest next to his beloved wife Evelyn at Resurrection Catholic Cemetery in Justice.
